Why Christ?

True love, life, liberty, empowerment and joy found through His teaching, example and lifestyle.

"Rules. Rules. Rules." That's what people see. However, the exact opposite is true through Christ. True freedom and true independence are what He offers. True value and meaning are His answers.

If someone had written a book about how you could become a fill in the blank, a book that taught you how to succeed at everything that truly matters in life - would you read it? If this book had been proven time and time again since the beginning of time - would you read it?

Well, that's how the Bible is. Guidelines and details that teach people how to be less selfish, more generous, more caring. It teaches us how to live a life of peace, joy and abundance. Christ loves you - where you are. His life book is an all-encompassing guide to succeeding at life as we know it and thriving throughout.

If you want to get fit - you seek the advice of a personal trainer. If you want to eat well - you visit a dietitian. If you want to be a better mom - you could join a "mom's group" If you want to be a better human and learn the value of an eternal soul - seek Jesus. He's the answer to everything. Even in the darkness of life situations, Christ is light and creates peace that doesn't make sense to someone without him.

That being said... humans will be humans. So Christians aren't going to be perfect. We stumble, we trip, we might lose our temper, we can be selfish and self-seeking.

Where does your moral compass come from? How do you set standards? How do you find value in yourself, or value another human for that matter?

Without Christ there is no sustainable answer to these questions.

If you have questions of your own, make sure to leave them in the comments section below so I can answer them for you. Feel free to leave comments or questions about human trafficking, makeup or hair as well. Love you all. Look forward to hearing from you.
